Marsh reflects on new membership

Craig Marsh, president of Salt Lake City-based Advanced Window Products, had some words to say about the company's recent entry into The Earthwise Group, a national network of locally owned, independent windows and doors manufacturers.

"The business philosophy and practices of the Earthwise Group are perfectly aligned with our own," he said. "The Earthwise Group has a focus on sustainability and continuous improvement, and their products have earned the Good Housekeeping Seal. These were important factors for us."

Marsh added that Advanced Window Products makes windows and doors that are custom-suited to the region's desert climate, built with high-performance insulated glass to stand up to high levels of UV radiation. Earthwise manufacturers tend to embody this approach, with various types of products suited to various geographical regions.

"We are pleased to welcome Advanced Window Products to the Earthwise Group," added Mark Davis, executive director. "The knowledge and experience of their management team will be a great addition to our group. We look forward to working with them as we continue to expand westward."

The Earthwise Group, which has nearly quadrupled in size over the last decade and had an 18% sales bump in 2013, now consists of 17 companies.
