Insulation offering expands at Johns Manville
Johns Manville added CI Max White insulation to its insulation offering.
Johns Manville CI Max White is described as a high-efficiency polyiso foam sheathing designed specifically for exposed interior applications. It’s approved for use without a thermal barrier and provides an attractive and durable interior finish. It is also suitable for wall or ceiling applications in commercial, residential, agricultural and industrial buildings.
“Code-compliant, cost-effective and thermally efficient wall assemblies aren’t something that can be achieved with just one product,” said Fred Stephan, senior VP Insulation Systems for Johns Manville “It takes a comprehensive, planned and well-executed insulation system, including both cavity and continuous insulation, which is why we continue to invest in expanding our portfolio. JM offers a complete line of high-performance commercial and residential insulation products all designed to work well in combination with one another so our customers can find the solution they need.”
CI Max White provides a continuous layer of insulation to reduce thermal bridging. Additionally, it has an acrylic-embossed facer that is aesthetically appealing, hard-wearing and easy to clean.
JM also announced that its entire line of foam sheathing products has received International Code Council Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) approval.
“As one of only two U.S. manufacturers to achieve this accreditation for Types I-V commercial construction, we are proud that we can continue to offer our customers even greater peace of mind that they are using the highest-rated materials on the market,” said Stephan.
Johns Manville is a Berkshire Hathaway company.
