GE's first Monogram French door built-in refrigerator

2/20/2018

GE has launched its first-ever Monogram French door built-in refrigerator, adding its own signature twist to the burgeoning French door trend.

“Our designers worked with our customers to create our first Monogram French door built-in model—one that authentically combines superior craftsmanship and performance as only Monogram can,” said Michael Mahan, product manager for Monogram Refrigeration.

The launch of the product is part of a $20 million investment in GE's Selmer, Tenn. manufacturing facility. The company cited an Association of Household Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) report from October 2013, which found that the French door configuration is the fastest-growing refrigerator style at the moment.

The Monogram French door fridge is built with tempered glass, fabricated steel and anodized aluminum.

It also features two 18-inch wide doors, 14.49 cubic feet of space for fresh food, and a bottom freezer drawer housing 6.06 cubic feet. The configuration includes four adjustable shelves, six adjustable door bins, an icemaker using GE's advanced water filtration system, and a digital control panel.
