BMC is building in California

2/20/2018

BMC Stock Holdings plans to open a new 30-acre, 187,000-square foot manufacturing and warehouse facility by Oct. 31 in Woodland, California, to meet the increased market demands in Northern California.

BMC has served the Northern California market for over 30 years and looks forward to being able to reach out to historically under-served geographies within the region through its Woodland location, the company said.  BMC’s Woodland location will offer a full line of building products to the growing Northern California market, including lumber, roof and floor trusses, wall panel components, EWP packages, framing hardware, millwork and the Company’s whole-house framing solution, Ready-Frame.

“Our customer base is growing, and we are growing with them,” says Erik Benson, BMC Sales Manager. “BMC is a full-service, one-stop building materials provider servicing Northern California, delivering a complete and robust offering of products, services, and installation to meet our customers’ production demands.”

The expanded geographies served by the Woodland location include the greater Northern Sacramento Valley, the Napa Valley, and the North Bay.

Woodland Mayor Angel Barajas celebrated the plan and its 75 new jobs: “This is a tremendous addition of permanent jobs to Woodland and it is the perfect use of a site that has access to rail. It is strategically located in the Sacramento Valley on I-5 serving the Sacramento-San Francisco Mega-Region area along the I-80 Corridor.  We look forward to partnering with BMC and the opening of their new Woodland headquarter facility.”
