Beacon makes it Three-for-December
Beacon Roofing Supply acquired Statewide Wholesale, a distributor of residential and commercial roofing and related products located in Denver, Colorado.
The move marked the third acquisition for Beacon in the month of December. Beacon bought Texas-based RIS earlier this month, and before that it bought RCI Roofing Supply, with operations in Nebraska, Iowa and Colorado.
Founded in 1983 by Randy and Dawn Rehbein, the Statewide acquisition provides Beacon with a new location on Denver’s south side to better serve customers across the whole Denver metropolitan area, the company said.
The latest tally puts Beacon’s footprint at 360 branches in 45 states.
Statewide founder Randy Rehbein, who will remain with the company.
“We chose to align with Beacon because Beacon most closely matched our culture and values and shares our belief that success comes from hard work and great customer service,” said Rehbein.
Paul Isabella, Beacon’s CEO and President, emphasized the strategic fit of the acquisition and the compatibility of the two companies.
"Randy and Dawn Rehbein have built a great company with a strong customer base and experienced employees,” he said. “Combining Statewide with our existing Roof Depot and new RSG branches gives us an unmatched footprint in the vibrant and fast-growing Denver market, and Statewide’s strategic location gives us an even better ability to more efficiently serve customers on Denver’s south side where there is strong commercial and residential development. “
