At AWC, a new member

Huber Engineered Woods joined the American Wood Council.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Huber Engineered Woods LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of J.M Huber Corporation, a family-owned company founded in 1883. Huber employs approximately 4,000.

Huber Engineered Woods describes itself as a leading producer of specialty oriented strand board products.

”Wood products manufacturers make products that are essential to everyday life from a renewable resource that absorbs and sequesters carbon,” AWC president and CEO Robert Glowinski said. “Our members are committed to sustainability in their products and their use. Huber is a key industry company with great people and facilities.”

More than 50 wood products companies are involved in the AWC and its efforts.
