Building products manufacturer James Hardie Industries reported fourth quarter 2021 global sales increased 20% to $807 million.
Global sales for the full year rose more than 12% to $2.9 billion.
North America Fiber Cement Segment sales for the fourth quarter were up 17% to $555.3 million.
James Hardie also posted an adjusted net income of $124.9 million for the fourth quarter, rising 44%. The company’s adjusted net income for the fiscal year was up 30% to $458 million.
“We have now delivered eight consecutive quarters of consistent profitable growth, including record financial results each of the past three quarters,” said Jack Truong, CEO of James Hardie. “Our performance in fiscal year 2021 marked a significant step change across multiple facets of our global company that allowed us to deliver this consistent profitable growth on an expanding global scale.”
