Sears Hometown opens doors in Montana
The latest Sears Hometown outpost -- the 11th this year -- landed in Sidney, Montana last Friday, Sept. 12.
"The addition of the new Sears Hometown Store inside our existing business will provide great value to the community," said Becky Benson, co-owner of the new Sears Hometown Store in Sidney. "Working with builders and homeowners, we recognized the need for a broader product and service assortment to assist customers with their projects. Now, they'll have access to the nation's top appliance brands at the lowest possible price."
The Sears Hometown franchise combines a big-box feel with an independent ethos, putting large-scale prices, inventory and services together with an autonomous management structure.
Additionally, customers can avail themselves of in-store internet kiosks where they can compare and contrast prices and customer reviews with those of other retailers.
Additionally, products not available in-store can be ordered online by an associate and picked up in-store without a shipping charge.
Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. owned and operated 1,251 stores as of Aug. 2, 2014.
The new store is situated at the Trifecta Home Center at 1051 S. Central Ave in Sidney.
