E&H Hardware acquires Bucyrus True Value

E&H Hardware Group is acquiring Bucyrus True Value located in Bucyrus, Ohio.

The hardware store will close on Dec. 30th and reopen under the banner of E&H Ace Hardware on Jan. 2, 2018, according to E&H Hardware.

Bucyrus True Value was purchased by the Campbell family from Gene Bianchi in 1994. Since that time, the family nearly tripled the size of the store and its number of employees. Over the years, all four Campbell children and two grandchildren have worked in the business.

“We want to thank all our past and present employees, as well as our faithful customers that have supported us through the years. It’s been a fun journey but we are excited for the next chapter as the Buehler family takes ownership and continues to improve the business for years to come,” current owner Rose Campbell said in a press release issued by E&H Hardware Group.

All employees of Bucyrus True Value will be offered the opportunity to work for E&H Hardware Group in the current location when ownership is transferred, the companies said.

E&H Ace Hardware also said it will continue to offer a wide selection of products and services from its lumber yard, hardware store, and small engine repair shop that will continue to focus on Husqvarna power equipment.

“Rosie and her team have served the customers of Bucyrus for many years. We look forward to joining the local Bucyrus community as we strive to maintain the tradition of a family-owned hardware in the heart of town,” stated Scott Buehler, president and chief operating officer of E&H Hardware Group.

E&H Hardware Group is a wholly-owned by the Buehler family of Wooster, Ohio. The organization operates 22 hardware locations in Ohio.
