Ace launches Father’s Day contest

Ace has launched an online daily contest in preparation for Father’s Day.

The marketing initiative allows consumers to log onto acehardware.com and click on the center icon stating, “Win something awesome for Father’s Day.” They can then sign up every day until June 17 for a chance to win assorted tools and a $100 Ace gift card. (Today’s prize is a 19-volt Craftsman C3 3/8-in. cordless drill driver kit and a 104-piece mechanics tool set.)

Each daily entry also gives customers another entry for the grand prize, a Craftsman 40-in. wide, 22-drawer, ball bearing tool chest and a $250 Ace Gift Card.

The co-op has used the contest to launch its Father’s Day initiative as the “Father’s Day headquarters,” and has continued its “I will” ad campaign with the slogan “This Father’s Day, I will get dad something he can really use. I will go to Ace.” The page provides a link to the contest, as well as Father’s Day gift ideas.
