Orgill opens doors in Orlando
Orlando -- More than one million sq. ft. of show floor space is dedicated to products and merchandising ideas here at the 2016 Orgill Spring Dealer Market.
As in past Orgill shows, one of the highlights is the creation of concept stores. This year, the lineup features a Vista Home & Garden Supply, a Continental Hardware & Building Supply, and two construction supply stores, one of which is made for Canada.
"These fully merchandised models are great places for you to see how the products and assortments you find on the floor can come together in a real-world retail setting," said Ron Beal, president and CEO, of Memphis-based Orgill. "For the first time at any show, we will be featuring a lawn and garden focused retail set complete with niche areas for hobby farming enthusiasts."
The Orgill event runs Feb. 25-27.
In addition to the fully-stocked concept stores, the market is featuring four Product Showcase areas, described by Beal as "massive product showcases." The four themes this year are electrical, outdoor living, impulse sales and worldwide sourcing.
Orgill operates five distribution centers and three export consolidation centers in the United States. In Canada, it operates a distribution facility in London, Ontario.
"The market also provides a great opportunity to learn more about all of the retail services Orgill and its vendor partners can provide," said Beal.
