True Value to celebrate “Independence” days
Networking, education, buying opportunities and 38 Special are all on the agenda for the upcoming True Value Spring Reunion, Feb. 16-19 in Anaheim, California.
The Chicago-based co-op will kick off with a Retail Best Practices Conference featuring two keynotes and eight tracks of education. In total 18 educational sessions will take place.
Mike Rowe, host of Discovery Channel's Dirty Jobs, will deliver the keynote speech, sharing his insights and observations about the nature of hard work, among other things. Also, author Chip Bell will deliver a presentation on customer loyalty.
On Feb. 17, thousands of True Value member retailers will hit the 500,000 sq. ft. show floor. Included in the layout will be a 30,000 square foot Assortment City, with specials and live demos. New to the layout will be a 4,000 sq. ft. Impulse Alley, showcasing ideas for end caps and countertop displays.
There will also be a Bargain Burners Reception with over 100 Reunion-only hot deals across all departments.
A Welcome Reception will take place outdoors at the Anaheim Convention Center, headlined by southern rock giants 38 Special.
