Do it Best streamlines its dot.com
Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Do it Best Corp. launched a new company website Thursday. The new Doitbestonline site is described as offering an engaging informative and user-friendly experience to a broad range of audiences.
The new site replaces the former doitbestcorp.com and independentsdoitbest.com and integrates doitbestcareers.com. Doitbestonline is designed to serve as an informational hub and key gateway for current and prospective members, prospective employees, vendors and the public with a clean, intuitive design and concise content making it easy to access and navigate.
On day one, the home page of the new site displays a message from CEO Dan Starr, jump off points to hardware, LBM, industrial/commercial and international areas; and a company news section.
“For prospective members and employees in particular, we know their first impression of Do it Best can often be shaped by the experiences they have with our digital presence, which is a big part of why we’re so thrilled to unveil this new site,” said Rich Lynch, vice president of Marketing at Do it Best. “Overall, we want to provide visitors a website that is as informative as it is easy to navigate, and we believe we’ve more than accomplished that with the new doitbestonline.com.”
Additional features of the new website include an optimized user experience with personalized journeys for hardware stores, lumberyards, industrial/commercial distributors and international retailers, the co-op said.
There’s also a homepage link to “Shop do it best.” That link brings users to doitbest.com, described with the tagline: “World’s Largest Hardware Store.”
