Do it Best names new divisional merchandise manager

Do it Best Corp. has hired Tom Andrews as a Divisional Merchandise Manager, effective immediately.



In his new role, Andrews will oversee the hand tools, plumbing, cleaning, housewares and INCOM departments within Merchandising.



“Tom’s addition enables our entire merchandising team to build on his diverse and extensive retail experience,” said Steve Markley, Vice President of Merchandising. “We are very excited to welcome him to our team as he leads these growing merchandising departments.”

Andrews has 30 years of retail experience, specializing in merchandise, assortment planning, demand planning and project management.

He most recently served as a project manager overseeing new merchandise lines for Fort Wayne-based Vera Bradley, with additional experience at Sports Authority, Best Buy, Payless Shoes, The Limited and Lane Bryant.
