Another store-within-a-store for Sears
Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores announced its first new Sears Hometown Store opening of the year — this one inside Kief Hardware, a Do it Best dealer in Cut Off, La.
"We look forward to providing our community with a large selection of home appliances at competitive pricing," said Kief Hardware’s James Cabirac, owner of the new Sears Hometown Store in Cut Off. "Visitors to the Sears Hometown space inside our Do It Best Hardware store can expect the same friendly service we provide as a locally-owned business but now backed by the buying power of a national retailer. It's the best of both worlds and will be a huge benefit to the local area."
The latest tally of Sears Hometown and Outlet stores operated by dealers and franchisees stands at about 1,115 stores.
According to the announcement from Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, the format brings appliance brands such as Kenmore, Maytag, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Bosch, Frigidaire and GE, plus an assortment of lawn and garden equipment, Craftsman tools, fitness equipment, electronics and mattresses.
Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores continues to promote the store-within-a-store concept — including this store in Indiana — and offers a variety of formats.
