Business Excellence: Darlene Purcell

Darlene Purcell is the director of operations excellence at Metrie.

She leads a team of subject matter experts to support cross functional teams throughout the organization. They improve processes for increased productivity and identification of continuous improvements to enhance the customer experience.

Darlene supports 29 distribution centers across North America, which includes training and development, annual in person operations summit, warehouse resets/relocations, indirect spend negotiations, and collaborate with local teams on all unpredicted issues.

“I am very active in mentoring women within Metrie to reach their full potential and thrive in a male dominated industry,” she said.
