DAP has introduced its QuickKitTM for tackling the task of entry door installation.
The DAP QuickKitTM is an all-in-one system that includes all the necessary materials and parts – from sealant to shims to sill pans – dramatically simplifying purchasing and installation.
Kits are available for single, double, and sliding doors, and all components meet the highest quality standards and relevant ASTM testing requirements.
“As materials and techniques for exterior door installation have evolved over the past decade, finding the right materials in the right quantities has become a challenge, resulting in the loss of valuable time and money,” says Tom Rapps, director of marketing and business development for DAP. “The DAP QuickKit alleviates these issues by providing exactly what the installer needs to complete the job all in one box, without concern for missing materials, excess waste, or quality. No guesswork required.”
Each DAP QuickKit contains:
The single-door kit accommodates doors with rough openings up to 40" wide, with options for 4-9/16" and 6-9/16" jamb sizes. The double-door kit accommodates doors with rough openings up to 80" wide and 4-9/16" and 6-9/16" jamb sizes. The sliding-door kit accommodates doors with rough openings up to 72" wide; it is available in 3-1/4" and 3-5/8" jamb sizes.

Each DAP QuickKit contains:
- DAP Dynaflex 800 Sealant, which meets AAMA 800 specifications; provides a watertight, weatherproof seal; is mold- and mildew-resistant; and offers excellent adhesion. Its flexibility makes it ideal for sealing dissimilar substrates.
- DAP Draftstop 812 Window and Door Foam, providing an airtight seal against water, air, and sound, and DAP LT Poly Flash 711. With a split-release liner, this flashing installs easily. It can be installed in temperatures as low as 0 degrees F, and it meets AAMA 711.
- Also included are a Jamsill Guard Sill Pan, composite shims, aluminum head flashing, and rustproof galvanized screws.
