Andersen celebrates National Volunteer Week
National Volunteer Week celebrates the power of collective action and community impact. Andersen employees make a difference with over 100 company-sponsored annual volunteer activities, in addition to sharing their time and talents outside of work.
Andersen says it also offers incentive programs that encourage participation and boost impact. Employees can earn donations from the company to support the causes they volunteer their time for.
Andersen’s commitment to volunteerism extends beyond a single week, with over 100 company-sponsored volunteer activities organized annually in collaboration with nonprofits across North America. The activities range from assembling care packages to supporting affordable housing projects and feeding folks in need.
One recent event brought employees together to support Bluebirds and Blooms, an organization focused on delivering joy to care communities through floral arrangements. The event resulted in 300 handcrafted bouquets made from recycled flowers, brightening the days of hundreds of individuals, their caretakers and families.
Andersen writes: "Acts of service, no matter how big or small, can create lasting change and inspire growth in our communities."
