Ace names new 2025 board members
Ace Hardware Corporation has made changes to the company’s board of directors following its 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
Following the recent annual meeting, shareholders elected member director David Majure to his first term on the company’s board.

Majure is the president and founder of Southeast Ace, a six-store Ace chain in Mississippi and Alabama, which opened its first Ace Store in Meridian, Mississippi, in 2019. Majure previously served as president of Majure Retail Group, and he has served on numerous local boards including The East Mississippi Boys & Girls Club, The Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi, The Lamar School Foundation, Great Southern Bank and Children of Abraham Ministries. Majure currently serves as the co-chair of the Alabama Ace Retailer Group.
In addition to the election of a new member director, Ace Hardware shareholders re-elected member directors Kristen Pellicer and Steven Burggraf to the Ace Hardware Board of Directors.
Kirsten Pellicer joined the board in 2022 and is chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee and a member of the Audit and Finance Committee and the Compensation and Human Resources Committee. Pellicer is a second-generation store owner of Ace Hardware Longmont, a single Ace store located in Longmont, Colorado.
She has been a member of the Rocky Mountain Ace Stores since 2005 and currently serves on its board and advertising committee. Pellicer has been a member of the Twin Peaks Rotary since 1998 and has held various board positions, including serving as its president in 2020. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Adams State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
Steven Burggraf joined the board in 2019 and was elected chairman of the board in 2024. He is a member of the Audit and Finance Committee, the Compensation and Human Resources Committee, and the Nominating and Governance Committee.
Burggraf is president and CEO of 15 Ace Hardware stores located across Minnesota and North Dakota, including Burggraf’s Ace Hardware and Paint Company located in Grand Rapids, Minn., since 1989. Burggraf also currently serves on the board of directors of the Grand Rapids State Bank and the Minnesota Lakes Bank.
Since 2014, Burggraf’s Ace Hardware has hosted the Burggraf’s Ace Hardware Caring Fore Kids Charity Classic, a fundraiser to support pediatric care for kids in the community. Burggraf holds an Associate degree in Small Business Management and Sales and Marketing from the University of Minnesota.
Outgoing director, Kristin Grunder, has served the maximum number of years of board service permitted by Ace's bylaws.
