Ace Retail Holdings, the parent company of Westlake Ace Hardware and Great Lakes Ace Hardware, announced today that it has raised more than $1.4 million to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN). The contribution was made possible through donations by the hardware retailer’s customers and associates in more than 250 locations across the country.

Throughout the year, Westlake Ace and Great Lakes Ace stores engaged in various fundraising initiatives, including the annual CMN bucket sale, round-up campaigns at the register, and sales of World’s Finest Chocolate Bars. All the money raised stays in the communities where Westlake Ace and Great Lakes Ace stores are located and will support the local Children’s Miracle Network-designated hospital.

“It is always an honor and privilege to support CMN and the wonderful work they do across the country,” Tony Houk, vice president of store operations for Ace Retail Holdings. “The 2024 CMN fundraising theme of ‘Nurturing Hope, Strengthening Futures’ spoke to the Ace brand’s long-term commitment to this wonderful organization and our steadfast focus on supporting the communities in which we do business.”

Ace Retail Holdings owns more than 250 hardware stores throughout North America – operating Westlake Ace Hardware, Great Lakes Ace Hardware, and other store brands. A wholly-owned division of Ace Hardware Corporation, the company is headquartered in the Kansas City area.
